Internship Opportunities

Rally Farms is an urban container hydroponic farm that supports the mission of Rally Point Foundation and is in the Nashville Farmers Market.  We are a year-round source for our community of local sustainable high-quality produce through innovation and advanced technology.  Our specialties are culinary herbs and leafy greens including mini- and full-head lettuces, arugula, mustard greens, and kale.

The goal of our internship program is to cultivate individuals into the next generation of urban farmers and sustainable agricultural advocates.  This Internship is intended to provide our interns with the practical skills and working knowledge in hydroponic farming one cannot gain by reading a book.

The internship will provide you with many opportunities for learning and skill-building, but how much you get out of it will in large part be up to you and how actively you pursue these opportunities.

The hours and duration of the internship are determined at the outset of the internship between the farmer and intern.   This is an unpaid part-time internship and the minimum length is 3 months and 10 hours a week. Candidates are 18 years and older.

The Rally Point Foundation is seeking a creative, self-motivated, and detail-orientated intern.  This intern will research grants, create a calendar of their deadlines, develop grant writing strategies, and apply to grants.

This internship is eligible for those looking to work remotely. The start and end date will be determined once you have been accepted, but the dates are negotiable. Internships are typically around 3-12 months and require at least 10 hours of work per week

This is an unpaid internship but is a fantastic way to gain experience working in the nonprofit sector. As an alternative, we encourage interns to apply for academic credit to those eligible.
